"Aikido is as much about internal transformation as it is about external skill development." - Jeffrey James
"To injure an opponent is to injure yourself. To control aggression without inflicting injury is the Art of Peace." - Morihei Ueshiba
An art for 21st Century challenges founded in the martial
inspiration of ancient Japan.
You will learn to protect yourself and control a conflict so as to bring no harm others.
We discover our limits are a horizon moving with us as we strive towards mastery.
Every moment your every movement becomes an opportunity to test and stretch yourself.
We realise with expanding clarity the challenger we face is a reflection of the challenger within.
Your understanding of yourself grows as you expand your self awareness.
We train, we sweat, we learn, we laugh. Trust in ourselves builds trust in our partners.
As your skills grow so to do lifelong friendships.
